The workshop is suitable for all interpreters with different levels (beginners and advanced).

Many times interpreters get stuck with how to interpret a certain word that they end up spelling it. Will the Deaf consumer understand? This workshop will allow them to think beyond and outside of the box, that their signing become more visual and clear enough for Deaf consumers to comprehend. Participants will learn Visual Vernacular and its prominent aspects, and apply them to their daily interpreting skills. The workshop will include lots of hands on activities (including facial expressions, gestures, classifiers).
